Baystate Health in western Massachusetts invites applications for a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the STICU team at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. The role covers a 12-bed Surgical-Trauma ICU, working alongside attendings and residents with APPs.

No OR duties and rotating 13-hour shifts including weekends/holidays are expected. Relocation assistance up to $10,000 is offered, with a strong focus on mentorship, professional development, and wellness

Qualifications

• BE/BC Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
• Experience in surgical trauma ICU preferred
• Flexibility to rotate day/night shifts and holidays

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in 12-bed Surgical-Trauma ICU
• Collaborate with attendings, surgeons, residents and APPs
• No operating room responsibilities
• Engage in professional development and mentorship
• Rotating 13-hour shifts with weekends/holidays
