Qualifications

• One year recent acute care experience.
• BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, safe, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes.
• Organize and prioritize patient care activities balancing patient needs and comfort.
• Demonstrate accountability for ethical behavior and escalate issues as needed.
• Advocate for patients by delivering holistic care.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition using labs, vitals, and test values.
• Utilize SBAR to notify physicians and other providers and conduct bedside nurse-to-nurse reports.
