Job summary

The Arizona Humane Society is seeking a full-time Trauma Hospital Coordinator at our Papago Park Campus. You will oversee daily hospital operations, coordinate assignments, and support veterinarians with exams, procedures, surgeries, and emergency care.

You will train technicians and volunteers, maintain precise medical records, and help manage lab work, radiology, vaccinations, and controlled drugs while upholding compassionate, high-quality care standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; veterinary program preferred.
• At least 2 years in a veterinary hospital or shelter setting.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in veterinary/animal welfare favored.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hospital operations and coordinate assignments.
• Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, surgeries and emergencies.
• Train and coach technicians and volunteers; maintain medical records.
