Job summary

North Memorial Health is seeking a Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join a collaborative team. This 7/70 role features one week on, one week off, with 10-hour shifts and a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary patient care throughout admission and discharge.

Applicants must have Minnesota PA license with NCCPA certification, or MN RN license with ACNP preferred, plus DEA.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota Licensure as a Physician Assistant through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
• Physician Assistant Certification through NCCPA.
• DEA Registration for practice.
• Two or more years’ experience as PA; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• For NP track, RN license in Minnesota and ACNP preferred; DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma/surgical critical care in collaboration with physicians, APPs, RNs, and other staff.
• Act as part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic, continuous patient care from admission through discharge.
• Support and participate in EPIC EMR documentation and care coordination.
• Maintain scope of practice within state licensing and professional guidelines.
