Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Trauma and General Surgery team in Minnesota. This is a 1.0 FTE position with a 10-hour evening/night shift pattern and a 7 on/7 off rotation, primarily hospital-based with occasional weekends.

You will manage trauma admissions, rounds, OR coverage and ACS activities, and provide diagnosis, treatments and consultations in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Licensed PA or NP in MN upon hire.
• ACLS/BLS Tier 2 certification within 180 days.
• ATLS required upon hire.
• NCCPA or NP certification required upon hire.
• DEA registration required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical care for trauma and general surgery patients.
• Performs rounds, orders and interprets diagnostics.
• Assists in OR and ACS activations.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team and educates staff.
