Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department, a Level I Trauma Center, with night shifts available. You will provide high-quality ED care, work with a skilled team, and support trauma, cardiac, and stroke patients in a magnet-designated facility.

Qualified candidates may receive a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation assistance. BSN/MSN preferred; RN license and BLS within 90 days required.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• NIHSS, TCRN, SCRN, TNCC, CEN, PALS, and ACLS preferred.
• Emergency Department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely care.
• Respond to trauma, cardiac, stroke, and other emergencies.
• Support evidence-based practice and patient safety initiatives.
