Job summary

The Institute for Trauma Recovery at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a data analyst/statistician at or above the master’s degree level to perform statistical analyses and contribute to trauma research. You will work with longitudinal data from the ~$35 million AURORA study and related NIH‑funded projects.

Applicants should have a strong background in statistics, substantial experience with R (and Python), and a track record of scientific writing.

Qualifications

• Post‑baccalaureate degree required; a BA with 3+ years may be accepted.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience publishing peer‑reviewed manuscripts.

Responsibilities

• Perform statistical analyses on longitudinal data from trauma research.
• Analyze data from the AURORA study and other R01 projects.
• Prepare academic, grant, or stakeholder materials.
