Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN seeks a full-time general/trauma/surgical critical care surgeon to join the Division of Trauma, Critical Care & General Surgery. The role covers 24/7 emergency general surgery, surgical critical care, and a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Board-certified/eligible surgeons with CCS fellowship are encouraged to apply. Candidates with robotics experience and interests in data science/AI research, plus leadership potential, are preferred.

Job description

The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is conducting a search for one full-time general/trauma/surgical critical care surgeon to join theDivision of Trauma, Critical Care & General Surgery. The practice includes 24/7 coverage of emergency general surgery, surgical critical care, and our Level 1 Trauma Center in addition to team-based and individual elective surgery. Applicants should be board-certified/board-eligible surgeons who have successfully completed fellowship training in surgical critical care. Candidates with excellent surgical skills, facility with robotic surgery, demonstrated achievement or strong potential to advance the science of surgery in relevant clinical research, particularly in data science/AI, and leadership potential are preferred. License or Certification: Board certified/eligible in General Surgery with fellowship completion in surgical critical/acute care and eligible for medical licensure in Minnesota.
