Job summary

Lovelace Health System is seeking a Day Shift, Full-Time Emergency Room Trauma Coordinator Registered Nurse in Albuquerque, NM. The Clinical Coordinator will direct and supervise staff, ensure delivery of high-quality patient care, and collaborate across departments to support hospital goals.

Candidates must be a graduate of an approved nursing program, hold NM RN licensure, have at least 2 years in a related department, and obtain BLS (within 14 days) and ACLS as required to provide direct

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice in New Mexico.
• At least 2 years of recent, relevant experience in the department specialty.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the professional and other staff in the department, supporting the hospital mission and fostering collaboration among nursing staff, medical staff, and ancillary departments.
• Delivers care to a specific group of patients and evaluates the quality of that care to drive improvements.
• Ensures care is delivered within budget and in coordination with other departments and services.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.

• Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Coordinator directs and supervises the professional and other staff members assigned to the department, supports and interprets the mission of the hospital and promotes harmonious relationships among nursing personnel, medical staff, ancillary departments, patients and families.
• The Clinical Coordinator provides for the delivery of care to a specific group of patients and evaluates the quality of that care in a systematic fashion,in order to improve care.
• The care isdelivered within the framework of hospital philosophy and approved budget, and in concert with other departments and services within and outside of the hospital.
• TheCoordinatormust be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
