Job summary

University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC) in Burlington, VT, seeks a Respiratory Therapist to join a Level I Trauma Center and Golisano Children’s Hospital team. You’ll provide professional respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and CF patients, collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team and following RT-driven protocols.

The role offers growth in Pediatric ICU, Level III Neonatal ICU, and Neonatal Transport, with sign-on up to $10,000 and relocation up to $6,000 for eligible

Qualifications

Graduate of an AMA approved program for Respiratory Care.
Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Vermont.
Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC within one year of hire date.
Current ACLS, BLS & PALS.

Responsibilities

Provide professional respiratory care to patients across adult and pediatric units.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate pulmonary needs.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team in a Level I Trauma Center.
Care for trauma patients, cardiac arrests and high acuity admissions.
Support care across neonatal and pediatric ICU environments.
