A leading trauma care provider in Burlington, VT, seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join a dynamic team in a Level I Trauma Center and Golisano Children’s Hospital. This role allows you to practice at the top of your license, delivering essential care to patients in critical states. You will work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, offering high-acuity care and collaborating on interdisciplinary teams. Candidates should be a graduate of an approved Respiratory Care program and hold necessary certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved program for Respiratory Care and licensed in Vermont.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist within one year of hire date.
• Current ACLS, BLS & PALS certifications required.
• Current ACLS, BLS & PALS.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional respiratory care to patients across various health states.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient’s pulmonary needs.
• Deliver patient care for all requiring respiratory care in general units.

Join a dynamic Respiratory Care team at a Level I Trauma Center and Golisano Children’s Hospital with a Level III NICU, where you’ll practice at the top of your license and have a meaningful impact across multiple critical care environments. Our Respiratory Therapists are trusted clinical practitioners who play an essential role in patient care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.

This position provides professional respiratory care to patients in varying states of health and illness by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the patient’s pulmonary needs. At baseline, our team provides and oversees delivery of patient care for all patients requiring respiratory care in the general units, including adult, pediatric, and cystic fibrosis patients. Working at a Level 1 Trauma Center means no two days are the same! RTs will care for trauma patients, cardiac arrests and high acuity admissions. You will accompany patients at different stages of their hospitalization and work to provide high quality care throughout their journey.
