Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• License Registered Nurse required; Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients and makes nursing judgments.
• Assesses health care needs and formulates a care plan, its implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinates patient care and directs assistive personnel to ensure safe, effective, patient-centered care.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and health professionals.
• Maintains mandatory education and participates in quality improvement activities.
