Job summary

Stony Brook Southampton Hospital is seeking a Trauma Program Manager to lead the development, implementation and evaluation of the trauma program, ensuring cost-effective care for patients and families along the continuum.

The role requires NY RN or EMT/Paramedic licensure, a Bachelor's degree, 5 years trauma/emergency experience, strong leadership and collaboration skills, and certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS; TNCC preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or EMT/Paramedic in New York
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Minimum 5 years clinical trauma/emergency care experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency with trauma data management and quality improvement

Responsibilities

• Lead process and performance improvement for trauma services
• Coordinate with medical director and administration
• Develop and maintain trauma educational programs
• Serve as liaison to committees to enhance trauma care
