Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a physician for a full-time locum tenens role at a Level I trauma center in Shreveport, LA. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm, with no on-call duties, and features 70% general surgery and 30% trauma cases. Expect 90% adult patients and 10% pediatric patients, with an emphasis on diverse surgical specialties including neuro, ortho, ENT and urology.

ACLS certification is required. Travel and housing expenses are prepaid, and malpractice insurance is paid.
