Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a surgeon to cover a full-scope caseload at a Level I trauma center in Louisiana. Expect 70% general surgery and 30% trauma, with specialties in general, neuro, ortho, ENT and urology. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm with no on-call duties.

ACLS certification is required and there is paid malpractice insurance plus prepaid travel and housing. 24/7 Weatherby consultant support is available during the assignment.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification is required.
• Experience at Level I trauma center; high acuity cases.

Responsibilities

• Cover full-scope general surgery, neuro, ortho, ENT and urology cases.
• Work 70% general surgery and 30% trauma.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm; no on-call duties.
• Assignment administered through Weatherby Healthcare portal.
