Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking an Anesthesiologist for OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, IL, a Level II trauma center with six ORs and advanced robotic systems.

The role involves pre-anesthesia assessment, induction, maintenance, emergence, and intraoperative monitoring as part of a collaborative anesthesia team. Responsibilities include directing anesthesia services, managing patient consent and options, and case assignments across neuro, ortho, and general

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
• ECFMG and FLEX are required.
• Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia.
• Currently licensed as a physician.

Responsibilities

• Case assignments: Neuro, ortho, general, and more.
• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department.
• Medical management of patients under anesthesia during surgery and procedures.
• Pre-anesthesia assessment.
• Obtain and verify patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of patient physiology.
• Clinical interventions as needed.

Education

MD/DO Degree from an accredited College of Medicine

ECFMG and FLEX

Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
