North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking an Anesthesiologist for OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, IL, a Level II trauma center with six ORs and advanced robotic systems.

The role involves pre-anesthesia assessment, induction, maintenance, emergence, and intraoperative monitoring as part of a collaborative anesthesia team. Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
• ECFMG and FLEX are required.
• Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia.
• Currently licensed as a physician.

Responsibilities

• Case assignments: Neuro, ortho, general, and more.
• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department.
• Medical management of patients under anesthesia during surgery and procedures.
• Pre-anesthesia assessment.
• Obtain and verify patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of patient physiology.
• Clinical interventions as needed.

Education

MD/DO Degree from an accredited College of Medicine

ECFMG and FLEX

Anesthesiologist opening at Level II trauma center, OSF St Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, IL, central Midwest location. Responsibilities

• Case assignments: Neuro, ortho, general, and more
• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient’s physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

• Schedule: 8’s, 10’s, 12’s, 16’s, and 24’s (when available)
• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician
