Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Fellowship offers an immersive experience at a premier trauma center. This one-year or two-year program allows fellows to train as junior faculty with full admitting and operative privileges at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Prerequisites include completion of an approved general surgery residency, American Board of Surgery eligibility or certification, and the ability to obtain a Maryland medical license.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved general surgery residency.
• American Board of Surgery eligible or certified.
• Ability to obtain a State of Maryland Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Fellows function as junior faculty with admitting and operative privileges at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
• Participate in trauma and acute care surgery training within the stand-alone or two-year multidisciplinary framework.
