UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital seeks four Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Trauma and Acute Care Surgeons to join its surgical team as it opens a Surgical Intensive Care Unit and expands to a Level II trauma center. The role offers a $550,000 annual base salary, a quality bonus up to $35,000, relocation assistance, and robust APP support.

Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care or Acute Care Surgery is required, with minimum five years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care or Acute Care Surgery.
• Minimum five years of experience preferred.
• Commitment to excellent patient care.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Help launch a new Surgical Intensive Care Unit and support the transition to a Level II trauma center.
• Practice primarily covers surgical critical care, trauma, emergency general surgery, and some elective general surgery.
• Strong inpatient APP support - team of four.
• Access to a da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system.
• EPIC EMR utilized system-wide.
• Paid malpractice coverage.
