Stryker Corporation is seeking a Critical Care/Trauma Surgeon to join Northern Indiana's premier hospital system. This role involves leading the development of a new Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at Memorial Hospital of South Bend, focusing on trauma care.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Board certified/eligible in General Surgery.
• Board certified/eligible in Surgical Critical Care.
• Eligible for unrestricted Indiana medical licensure.
• Strong clinical skills in trauma, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care.
• Commitment to multidisciplinary team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Influence, design, and launch a new Surgical ICU for the community.
• Participate in trauma activations and perform emergency general surgery procedures.
• Collaborate with daytime trauma APPs.
