Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, or Operating Room experience as an ARNP or PA-C.
• Current Washington state license (or ability to obtain).
• Current Washington DEA registration (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to ACS and trauma patients in collaboration with attending physicians.
• Autonomously perform specialized patient procedures: Intubation, ventilatory management, arterial line placement, central venous catheter placement, chest tube insertion, conscious sedation, POCUS.
• First assist with a wide range of surgical procedures: laparoscopic/open, rib fixation, robotic assisted laparoscopic operations.
• Assist in evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute care surgical patients, including emergencies.
• Coordinate and participate in patient rounds, providing updates on status, treatment plans, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation of encounters, procedures, and treatment plans in the EMR; mentor incoming staff.
