Job summary

Caesars Entertainment's Trattoria is seeking a friendly, attentive Server to provide upscale service, take orders, upsell promotions, and seamlessly coordinate with front and back of house. You will handle dining room upkeep, assist with bussing, and support a family-style service culture while working weekends and holidays in a busy resort setting.

The role requires excellent communication, neat appearance, ability to operate a POS device, and 1 year in food service or retail.

Job Summary

Trattoria’s Servers provide friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, upscale service consistently to guests. Must possess the willingness to provide friendly service support to fellow servers while still maintaining precise and coordinated team responsibilities with the other back of house team members.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary

• Order taking, including upselling current promotional items or items suggested by management team
• Delivery, Customer service, Organization and cleanliness of the restaurant both the front and back of the house.
• Required to replenish the dining room items (i.e. salt/pepper, ketchup, etc.).
• The Trattoria server works in a team atmosphere and may be required to bus tables on occasion, and clean up in other areas.
• Understand and execute Family Style Service at all times with all guest and tm.

What You Will Need

• Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance.
• Must be committed to 100% customer service!
• Must be able to operate a point of sales device, be computer literate, and possess required math skills.
• Must also be able to work rotational shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs many times throughout a shift.
• A Trattoria’s Server position requires a variety of skills including but not limited to excellent organizational skills, communication skills, physical stamina, enthusiasm, courtesy, sincerity, initiative and persistence. One year in a food service or retail based position preferably in Food & Beverage working directly with customers.
• Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods. May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing. Must be able to pass a background investigation. Subject to pre-employment drug screening.
• High School Diploma or equivalent

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
• Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
• Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
• Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
