Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services is hiring immediately for full-time Housekeeper Utility positions at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin. The role involves maintaining facility areas, operating cleaning equipment, and ensuring proper storage and waste disposal.

Shifts include 2:00 pm–10:30 pm, 5:00 pm–1:30 am, and 11:00 pm–7:30 am with variation by interview. Previous healthcare housekeeping experience is a plus. Medical center location: Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• Mobility to walk/stand for extended periods.
• Ability to push containers weighing 50–100 pounds.
• Ability to understand written and spoken English instructions.
• Strong communication skills for team and patient support.
• Mechanical aptitude to fix and maintain cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• We are hiring immediately for full time HOUSEKEEPER UTILITY positions.
• Address: Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin - 1201 West 38th Street, Austin, TX 78705. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, 5:00 pm to 1:30 pm, and 11:00 pm to 7:30 am; days and hours may vary. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is a plus!
• Pay Range: $16.00 per hour to $17.10 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains facility areas and keeps equipment clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains and services cleaning equipment.
• Stocks cleaning carts with supplies.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization in storeroom and closets.
• Collects, transports, and disposes of trash, bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.
• Fixes and maintains cleaning equipment.
• Identifies potential safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to push containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Mechanical abilities to fix and maintain cleaning equipment.
