Go above and beyond for patients, deliver superior customer service and ensure their comfort and safety at all times. In this role you will transport patients from the nursing units to various hospital departments; to make pick-ups and deliveries of Medical Records, Lab Specimens, pharmacy and other equipment. May need to change O2 tanks, and apply O2 regulators on conveyance vehicles.

This is a full time day shift position, including weekends/holidays located at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens located in Flushing, NY.

Schedule is 5 days a week 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Weekends are required for the first 2 years.

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED
• Some previous experience in food service is desirable.
• Ability to follow simple directions.

Preferred Criteria

• Extensive customer service experience and a desire to Put Patients First.
• Experience in the hotel, restaurant or retail industry.
• *The shift includes weekdays, weekends and holidays and requires registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range: $26.24-$27.91/Hourly
