The following statements are intended to describe the major elements and requirements of the position and should not be taken as an all-inclusive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of an individual assigned to this job. The Radiology Transporter transports patients to and from the Radiology Department. Other duties include, but are not limited to: darkroom duties, ordering supplies, stocking, dressing patients, and front office duties. This role performs clerical duties for the Radiology Department such as answering telephones, greeting patients, and preparing requisitions for outpatients. Additional responsibilities include filing patient reports, retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records. The Radiology Transport/Aide should demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in Radiology, display good telephone etiquette, and greet patients and visitors politely and friendly. Provides clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System), and running errands throughout the facility.

Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e., full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $25.70 to $25.70. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hiring, considering factors such as skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
