Baptist Health is seeking a Transporter for the day shift to move patients, equipment, and supplies within the hospital. You will transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, bed, and Vess chair, using the Patient Tracking system and EPIC.
The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols; HS/GED and BLS within 30 days are required. The team supports radiology and discharge processes with comprehensive benefits.
Transporter
Full-Time, Days
The Transport team is responsible for the transport of Baptist Health patients to radiology departments and upon discharge from the hospital. Transporters assist patient care units with maximum assistance transfers with appropriate utilization of mechanical lifts. Miscellaneous equipment such as beds, pumps, and recliners will also be delivered throughout the hospital by the Transport team upon request.
