The Transport team is responsible for the transport of Baptist Health patients to radiology departments and upon discharge from the hospital. Transporters assist patient care units with maximum assistance transfers with appropriate utilization of mechanical lifts. Miscellaneous equipment such as beds, pumps, and recliners will also be delivered throughout the hospital by the Transport team upon request.
A hospital transporter is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of patients, equipment, and supplies within the hospital. Key duties include transporting patients to various departments, assisting with patient transfers, and ensuring timely delivery of medical equipment and supplies.
