Description

There are both FT & Per Diem positions available. The Per Diem position does not offer benefits. Schedule flexibility is preferred, and alternating weekends will be required. The schedule is 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide appropriate care to patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, or geriatrics.
• Transport patients, equipment, and supplies within the hospital, utilizing various modes of transportation and handling different types of patient equipment.
• Promote and ensure patient safety and a secure environment at all times.
• Perform additional duties within the job scope as directed by supervisors or dispatchers.
• Maintain communication and documentation of transportation activities, submitting reports at the end of each shift.
• Keep equipment storage areas organized and assist in equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association before hiring.
