You can get out on the open road with Arc Herkimer as a Transporter!

Rate of pay $18.50/hr, Monday – Friday split shifts to full days, 37.5 hours per week. Optional overtime may be available.

Full Time position available!

18+ years old.High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred. Valid NYS Drivers License required. Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.

You’re the first face people with disabilities see in the morning, and the last face in the afternoon! As a Transporter, you:

• Transport individuals in a safe manner
• Assist individuals with special needs with entering or exiting the vehicle
• Communicate with staff regarding emergent situations that may occur during transport
• Perform pre- and post-trip checks, keep transport logs, and maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Maintain up to date knowledge on approaches to care of people supported
