Job summary

University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center (UM CRMC) is seeking a dedicated patient transport assistant to move and transfer patients between beds and treatment areas using safe body mechanics, ensuring comfort and security.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and CPR certification. Knowledge of proper body mechanics helps prevent injuries and supports smooth workflow in our collaborative hospital environment.

Job Description

Moves/transports patients of various weight, ages and sizes to and from beds and ambulatory devices, to and from various treatment areas, using acceptable body mechanics while maintaining patient comfort and security.

Work Experience

High School Diploma or GED. CPR certification required. Knowledge of proper body mechanics.

Benefits

Pay Range: $17.00 - $21.39
