Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking a Patient Transporter to provide courteous, safe transport of patients and supplies within the hospital. The role includes documenting transports, inspecting equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe environment to support patient care.

Typical responsibilities include moving patients and equipment, ensuring availability of items for care, and completing assigned goals.

Qualifications

• 6 months hospital or customer service experience.
• Knowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience
• HS diploma/GED or higher preferred.
