Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Transporter to move patients, supplies, and equipment within the hospital and at discharge. You will clean and sanitize transportation gear, assist as Shift Coordinator in absence of supervisor, and participate in AIDET communications.

Regular cross-training across facilities ensures readiness for all transporter duties. Responsibilities include delivering oxygen during severe weather, attending department meetings, and using the health system's

Qualifications

• Education: High school education or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer experience providing customer service in transportation (or transport), clerical duties, and/or dispatching associated functions.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC: CPR (American Heart Association Healthcare Provider) acquired before or during new hire orientation.

• Deliver adequate oxygen to all requesting units during severe weather (Code Black).
