Job summary

St. Mary’s Health Care System is seeking a full-time Transporter to move patients throughout our facility, deliver items to care areas, and maintain transport equipment. Under supervisor direction, you will support patient safety and workflow on a Monday-Friday schedule with a 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience assisting in hospital transportation is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Additionally, he/she delivers objects to patient care areas and ensures that transport equipment is properly maintained. Transport staff will assist Public Safety in patient restraints and standbys.

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
