Job summary

Randolph County (NC) seeks a Transportation/Visitation Specialist to provide transportation for children in DSS custody and supervise court-ordered family visitations. You will complete written observations of visits and coordinate with Work First and Medicaid programs as needed.

Responsibilities include transporting foster children to visits, supervising interactions, documenting observations, and intervening when necessary. Court testimony may be requested to support observed events.

Responsibilities

• Transporting foster children to and from family visitations.
• Supervising family visitations between foster children and their parents, guardians, caretakers, or other extended family members.
• Completing detailed accurate documentation of supervised visits.
• Intervening in the visit when needed and end the visit if necessary.
• May be called to testify in court as to observations witnessed while supervising visits.
• Transportation activities may include other clients for Work First and Non-Emergency Medicaid Programs.
