Job summary

Qualifications

• 36 mos. trg. or exp. in engineering related field; must possess valid driver’s license.
• Undergraduate core program in engineering technology, construction management, civil engineering or related field; 12 mos. trg/exp; valid driver’s license.
• 12 mos. exp. as Transportation Technical Specialist, 8587; valid driver’s license.
• Equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.

Responsibilities

• Generate standard detailed drawings for highway improvement plans and utility relocations.
• Review highway & bridge plans; provide recommendations on utility relocation issues.
• Prepare engineering computations and cost estimates; coordinate utility relocation during programming.
• Coordinate and present meetings with utility companies and agencies on relocation and permits.
