JMT's Construction Management Team is seeking a Transportation Technician I to apply standard inspection procedures on ongoing activities in the Wilkesboro, North Carolina area, during and after construction for quality, safety and conformance to plans and specifications. Statewide opportunities available. This position is not eligible for employer based sponsorship with the exception of the TN visa classification.
This position is available in multiple locations within North Carolina and can be discussed with the hiring manager during an interview.

Working Conditions
Work is performed in the field. Ability to work safely in an outside environment with exposure to hazards on construction sites including heights, highway traffic, and traversing rough terrain in evaluating highway construction. Must be able to perform moderate physical activity including but not limited to walking, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and standing. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work nights and weekends as required.
