Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Program Manager for the Transportation Engineering Systems (TESS) team to learn how Amazon's transportation systems decide how to move packages and to manage configuration changes at scale.

You will lead end-to-end delivery, analyze package flows, troubleshoot issues, and build automation and analytics using AI, while coordinating with business leaders and program teams to drive improvements and document processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvements using data and metrics.
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and SQL experience.
• Experience using data to drive improvements.
• Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage system configuration changes across Amazon's proprietary transportation systems to support new and existing package flows.
• Track program milestones and communicate status to business leaders and stakeholders.
• Execute network design changes end-to-end, coordinating with business leaders and program teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Dive deep into package flow data to troubleshoot system errors, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and build automation to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy.
• Develop analytics and reporting capabilities leveraging AI to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks in system configurations before they impact customers.
• Document processes, SOPs, and configuration playbooks for the team.
• Contribute to additional doc writing such as QBR, MBR, and Lessons Learned.
