Job summary

Rexel USA, a leading electrical distributor, is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to join the Mayer team in Etna, PA. The role leads a team responsible for routing deliveries, driver management, and ensuring safe, on-time service while meeting performance metrics.

Responsibilities include daily route planning, enforcing OSHA/DOT compliance, load accuracy, and coordinating with internal and external managers to deliver an exceptional delivery experience at sustainable costs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a Distribution Center/Warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of WMS and TMS systems, routing, and transportation telematics.
• OSHA and DOT compliance knowledge.
• High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred for advancement.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily route planning, staffing, and load balancing.
• Ensure OSHA and DOT requirements are met for vehicles and drivers.
• Supervise loading, manifest integrity, and delivery accuracy.
• Provide leadership and training for delivery personnel.
• Schedule deliveries and dispatch drivers per customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure manifests are closed.
• Collaborate with internal/external managers to deliver an exceptional delivery experience.
