Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead a team in Etna, PA, ensuring efficient routing and safe delivery operations. You will hire, train, and evaluate transportation staff while delivering high levels of customer service and performance.

You will coordinate daily routes, monitor loads, and ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements. This role emphasizes leadership, safety, and operational excellence within Rexel's Mayer team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of equivalent work experience in distribution or transportation leadership.
• Previous supervisory experience in a Distribution Center/Warehouse environment preferred.
• High School diploma or GED is required; a 4-year degree is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily route planning, staffing, and load balancing to optimize deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements for vehicles and drivers.
• Oversee loading processes and manifest accuracy for outbound shipments.
• Schedule deliveries and dispatch drivers per customer requirements.
• Provide leadership and performance feedback to transportation staff.
• Maintain safety and security of assets and equipment.
• Maintain records of deliveries and manifests.

We are looking for a Transportation to join our Mayer team in Etna, PA.

Summary:

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of transportation personnel responsible for routing deliveries and drivers in the most efficient way possible while maintaining delivery metrics and safety polices. Will also be responsible for hiring, training, completing performance reviews, and ensuring jobs are correctly implemented, assigned, and completed with a high level of customer service.

What You'll Do:

• Coordinate daily route planning, staffing, and load balancing activities
• Ensure all vehicles, drivers, and processes meet both Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements
• Supervise andresponsible for the complete and accurate loading process of material going out for delivery
• Ensure manifest integrity for all loads
• Provide leadership, motivation and education for personnel directly involved with delivery operations
• Schedule deliveries and dispatch drivers based on requirements of the customer as communicated through various media channels
• Keep accurate record of deliveries and ensure manifests are properly closed
• Coordinate and communicate daily on-demand services as needed
• Ensure all assets are maintained consistent with company expectations
• Responsible for building and vehicle maintenance, safety, and security
• Work closelywith internal and external managers, and customers to ensure an exceptionaldelivery experience at a sustainable cost
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need
