Job summary

Perdue Transportation Incorporated seeks a Transportation Supervisor to lead 50–100 professional drivers, oversee yard assets, and ensure smooth movement of agricultural products across Perdue Foods and AgriBusiness.

You will manage 24/7 operations, champion safety and regulatory compliance, develop people, drive results, and partner with drivers and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of transportation, distribution, or logistics experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Possess general knowledge of FMCSA and DOT guidelines.
• Geographical knowledge of the Eastern United States.
• Possess prior supervisory or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of 50–100 drivers while overseeing yard assets.
• Manage 24/7 transportation operations and ensure safety/regulatory compliance.
• Review safety systems and coach drivers to meet safety goals.
• Oversee onboarding, KPI reporting, and performance feedback.
• Investigate incidents and participate in safety reviews.
• Develop fleet retention plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance and driver documentation.
