Job summary

Core-Mark seeks a Transportation Supervisor in Albuquerque to lead a driver team, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain DOT compliance. The role drives efficiency, safety, and quality service in a high-volume food distribution setting.

You will oversee daily operations, participate in route planning, and support onboarding and training. The position requires 50% travel and a strong safety mindset to optimize performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Interstate Class A CDL is required.
• 2+ years transportation or related experience with DOT/safety knowledge.
• 1+ years of supervising a team of 10-15 drivers.
• Experience operating computerized fleet management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach drivers; manage scheduling and performance.
• Assist Transportation/Operations Manager with daily admin tasks and payroll reviews.
• Ensure DOT compliance and safe vehicle operations; monitor driver duties.
• Maintain driver records, logs, DVIRs and route paperwork.
• Identify cost-saving routes and improve delivery efficiency.
