Qualifications

Familiar with DOT laws and regulations.
MS Office and strong written/verbal communication.
Manhattan TMS experience preferred.
Ability to coordinate cross-functionally.
Strong focus on team engagement and timely engagement on performance and functional goals.

Responsibilities

Champion a team of drivers and hourly associates to optimal performance and engage them while tracking key metrics.
Onboard and mentor newly hired drivers; complete annual training per safety program.
Monitor yard operations and align with warehouse needs; ensure drivers meet performance expectations.
Conduct routine observations and audits; ensure pre/post trips and timely completion of work assignments.
Promote accurate use of transportation management systems.
Assist with Driver Qualification files and drug/alcohol testing protocols.
