Job summary

As a full-time, on-site leader, you will oversee daily transportation activities, schedule equipment and staff, coach a diverse team, and enforce policies within a union environment, driving performance, safety, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years in transportation or food distribution, with supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, driver safety, routing software, and logistics reporting.
• Strong leadership and conflict-resolution skills.
• Clear communication with internal teams, drivers, and partners.
• Work in a temperature-controlled warehouse (dry, chill, and freezer).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required).
• Experience in unionized environments preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transportation activities, route analysis, and staffing.
• Schedule equipment and personnel to meet delivery demands, including special orders.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs.
• Coach and support team through evaluations, feedback, and motivation.
• Enforce policies and resolve employee issues in a union environment.
