Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution in Waipahu, HI is seeking a Night Operations Supervisor to oversee nightly transportation and warehouse functions. You will lead drivers and warehouse staff, ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time deliveries for food-service customers.

The role requires 3–6 years in transportation or food distribution with supervisory experience, a relevant degree, and strong knowledge of DOT and WMS systems. On-site work, 4pm–3am four nights per week, base pay with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, or psychology (Preferred)
• 3–6 years of transportation or food distribution experience, including supervisory responsibilities
• Experience in union work environments and supervisory leadership

Responsibilities

• Supervise night shift drivers and warehouse staff.
• Coordinate GSF Quality activities and operations to meet objectives for quality, food safety, regulatory compliance, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse and shipping operations to ensure orders are received, scheduled, produced, and loaded on time and at low cost.
• Schedule shifts and assign tasks based on workload and staffing needs.
• Monitor employee attendance and punctuality; address issues per company policy.
• Maintain safe, sanitary, and organized work environment in compliance with regulations.

Night Operations Supervisor – Waipahu, HI

You will also lead daily warehouse and shipping operations while maintaining the highest standards for safety, quality, inventory control, and team performance. This role plays a critical part in supporting production, meeting customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement across warehouse operations.

In This Role, You’ll

Education/Certification

• Responsible for managing drivers and warehousemen on the night shift
• Responsible for handling computer systems and WMS systems in the building.
• Coordinate GSF Quality activities and operations to meet objectives for quality, food safety, regulatory compliance, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction at GSF - Hawaii.
• Participate in formulating and administering division’s short- and long-range goals and objectives for business growth.
• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse and shipping operations to ensure customer orders are received, scheduled, produced, and loaded accurately, on time, and at the lowest possible cost.
• Schedule shifts and assign tasks based on workload and staffing needs.
• Monitor employee attendance and punctuality; address issues promptly and fairly in accordance with company policies.
• Communicate effectively with Production and Quality teams regarding quality, inventory, or production issues.
• Coordinate load out schedules with internal distribution teams and external carriers to support on time shipments and receiving.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment in compliance with company policies and all state and federal regulations.
• Ensure full adherence to quality assurance standards, including good housekeeping and overall cleanliness of products and work areas.
• Monitor cooler inventory daily to ensure proper rotation, coding accuracy, and full traceability.
• Ensure all inventory transactions—including shipments, donations, losses, and damages—are recorded accurately and timely.
• Responsible for ensuring SOPs are followed by the team and the proper Operational flow is achieved for success on the night shift.
• Normal Inventory control, Supervisory, and coaching responsibilities. Act in accordance with GSF's Values and Creed

4pm – 3am x 4 nights a week (3 days off)

Pay & Benefits

• Pay Range (Base Pay): $77k to 88K Annually
• Weekly pay (every Friday)
• Other Compensation: May include shift differentials, overtime pay, bonuses, or other incentive pay as applicable to the position and location.
