Job summary

Werner Enterprises, Inc. seeks a Transportation Supervisor to oversee daily transportation operations, drive driver relations, and manage customer service to ensure satisfaction.

Responsibilities include tracking drivers and freight, customer communications, and handling email/phone inquiries, while monitoring Hours of Service and inbound paperwork as part of a first-rate logistics team.

Qualifications

• CDL - Class A required.
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willing to field phone calls and solve issues after hours.
• Willing to cover short loads and perform Yard Jockey duties if someone calls out.

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for day to day Transportation operations, which include maintaining driver relations and all customer service functions needed to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• CDL- Class A required.
• Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Windows)
• TMW system knowledge preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations
• Willing to field phone calls and solve issues as needed after scheduled hours.
• Willing to cover short loads and perform Yard Jockey duties if someone calls out.
