Job summary

Blue Line Distribution is hiring a Transportation Supervisor for its Phoenix, AZ facility. You will lead the transportation team, manage driver schedules and routes, and drive cost-efficient delivery operations.

Role requires DOT, FDA, OSHA/CSA compliance knowledge, fleet maintenance experience, and proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint plus onboard systems like PeopleNet and Appian. After-hours availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years supervisory experience in transportation with driver teams.
• Knowledge of DOT, FDA, OSHA/CSA compliance requirements and enforcement ability.
• Proficient in Word/Excel/PowerPoint; experience with onboard systems (PeopleNet, Appian).
• Experience in fleet maintenance and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transportation department in strategic and daily operations.

We are now hiring for a Transportation Supervisor at our facility in **Phoenix, Arizona.****Your Mission:**In this role, you will assist in leading the transportation department in strategic and day-to-day activities, from managing schedules and routes to creating and managing transportation goals identified in the strategic plan. You will be responsible for productivity goals and standards, DOT compliance and safety, and provide industry-leading quality service. This position will include managing the driver colleagues.**How You’ll Make an Impact:*** Assure the most efficient delivery schedule that satisfies customer delivery needs while ensuring the lowest total distribution cost per case.* Manage the monitoring of driver routes, stops and deliveries and ensure that all required logs are accurate and completed on time.* Develop maintenance schedules and procedures that ensure high performing vehicles and equipment while maintaining adequate coverage for deliveries.
