Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee daily logistics operations within designated areas, including dispatching, routing, and safety compliance. Role Overview: This position supervises daily transportation operations within designated areas, including dispatching, routing, and equipment security. Responsibilities encompass assigning work, ensuring safety, training staff, and coordinating delivery schedules using routing software to optimize efficiency. The role involves addressing customer concerns, monitoring fleet performance, and maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations such as DOT and FMCSA standards. Additionally, the supervisor oversees driver logs, safety protocols, and department KPIs, while fostering a safe, clean, and secure work environment. They manage staffing, training, and performance development, participate in safety meetings, and handle incident investigations. The position requires knowledge of transportation logistics, dispatching, and onboarding software, along with proficiency in MS Office.
Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED, with at least three years of transportation or supply chain experience, including supervisory or lead roles preferred. Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential. Ability to multitask, work flexible hours, and work in a warehouse environment is required. Knowledge of DOT regulations, dispatching, and routing software is necessary. Physical demands include lifting up to 75 pounds, standing, walking, and working in moderate to high noise levels.
