Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a strategy and organizational senior consultant to help clients execute their mission in government transportation programs. You will lead client deliverables, design and optimize projects, and coach junior staff while coordinating with client engagement teams to solve complex challenges.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage budgets, and contribute to organizational redesign and policy implementation efforts within public sector engagements.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Three (3+) years of management consulting experience, preferably in the public sector.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in client service and team-based environments, especially with unstructured problems.
• Strong attention to detail, well organized and able to self-prioritize multiple activities.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to travel.
• Ability to work in a Guidehouse Office or Client Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of high-quality client deliverables that meet client requirements.
• Develop detailed project schedules to monitor performance.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues.
• Develop detailed status reports for individual programs.
• Work with diverse stakeholders to understand business requirements and interdependencies.
• Work with stakeholders to keep projects on-time and within budget.
• Lead the facilitation of client meetings, work groups, or interviews.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and quality assurance to junior staff.
