Job summary

McClelland Consulting Engineers (MCE) seeks a Project Designer for Transportation & Stormwater in Little Rock, AR. The role supports planning, design, and delivery of infrastructure projects including roadways, trails, and drainage. You will assist in producing plans, sections, and reports under engineers and project managers.

This position offers growth in a multidisciplinary ESP enterprise with a strong client focus and opportunities to work across Arkansas and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to learn OpenRoads Designer (ORD), MicroStation, GeoPak, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and related design software.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Synchro, SIDRA, and RODEL software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design, and production of transportation, roadway, multi-use trail, and stormwater drainage projects.
• Prepare engineering drawings, exhibits, models, and project deliverables under supervision.
• Develop PS&E, construction details, quantities, and supporting documentation.
