Job summary

McClelland Consulting Engineers, Inc. in Little Rock, AR, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of transportation and stormwater infrastructure projects.

You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, lead major projects, and support growth initiatives within the Transportation & Stormwater Management Department. The role requires a PE license in Arkansas, 10+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency with ORD, MicroStation, GeoPak, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arkansas or able to obtain within six months.
• 10+ years of progressive transportation/stormwater engineering experience.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience developing and maintaining client relationships and leading business development.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation, roadway, multi-use trail, and stormwater projects from planning through construction and closeout.
• Serve as senior client manager and trusted advisor for municipalities, counties, state agencies, and private clients.
• Lead delivery of large, high-profile projects with focus on client service and profitability.
• Develop scopes, budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and resource forecasts.
• Provide technical oversight for roadway, drainage, and stormwater projects, and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor and develop project staff and identify growth opportunities for the team.
• Support business development, proposals, and client relationships.
